Beige and Red: 1940 Teammates

Some more color inspiration from my 1940 Vogue magazine... this time about pairing beige and red together.  I must admit that I usually don't like a very pale color with a bright color (I usually like dark colors with bright colors).  What do you think?

  1. I like the red/bone combination! It is very summery looking.

  2. I love the red - it would look fabulous on you. I like reds with caramels, too.

  3. I like the combination, but it's totally ruined for me by the Target dress code! Those ladies sure are dressed well for a day of retail!

  8. hmm...i actually like brights on top of brights... on topof other brights! :) i usually go for color with darks- i do like light colors with brights- but have hardly any pieces like that... maybe i should actually get to sewing!!! :)

  9. Well...the combo looks great in the photo because it's shot in a shadow, and against a brown background and everything looks kind of muted. But in bright daylight, I'm not so sure. (I'm playing devil's advocate because everyone's saying - go for it!)
