The pattern is from 1940 (my favourite year!!) and I've sewn up the jacket version in faux fur. It's a size B36...

The reissue Vogue 2960 is my favorite although there are a lot of nice patterns I would love to own. And liked on facebook :)

Also while I drooled over all the pretty special occasion dresses I decided that my favorite was "Simplicity Early 1950s Sewing Pattern Shirt Dress Button Front Full Gathered Skirt Deep V Neck or Collar Kimono Sleeves" I lie the simplicity of it whole it still having special effects!... now to lose 6 inched of bust.... ;-)
