I had originally wanted to have tartan covered buttons, but alas, the fabric was too thick to make my own buttons with--so I made the tartan belt instead (which matches the jacket, shoes and purse)!
With a jacket the dress becomes a suit frock!
Oh...I love it! It's such a great basic color....what do you think?
C'est magnifique! I love it. The little bodice looks so happy, and its great with the jacket for a dress-suit.

ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful!! - stand alone or with the sweet jacket. I'd love trying a blouse out of the top's design but I've done a web search for the pattern with no luck. It looks like McCalls has used this number - 3836 - a few times. DARN.
