I'm thrilled that Denise from the Blue Gardenia has just featured my sewing space as part of her blogging series! Definitely check out her blog and her shop (for fabulous vintage patterns!)
We've also got some big news--we are moving to Edinburgh!
I am so excited--it's such a lovely city!
More details to come soon. Happy Sunday everyone!
Congratulations on the move to Edinburgh. I just visited it for the first time with my daugher for an Open Day at the university and was really charmed by the city. If she ends up there, I won't be sorry, as she's got that feel for its romance, history and intellectual independence.
ReplyDeleteHappy Move! Love your vintage style.
Oh wow, congratulations! Edinburgh is stunning, I'm sure you'll be very happy there...but you will have to post pictures of your new sewing space ;o)

ReplyDeleteEdinburgh is a lovely city, I'm sure you'll love it. But you must be sad to leave where you are too, it's so lovely there. It was what caught my eye about your blog - the very village (and the neighbouring one) where my family is from. I spent a lot of childhood visits there.
Congrats on the feature AND the move. What a beautiful city- I'll add it to my "Must Visit" list right away!
ReplyDeleteWow, congrats AND congrats!! Loveliness all around!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great city! So envious :-)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, Edinburgh, on my long long list of places to visit.
ReplyDeleteAnd are you kidding about the prices of antiques in Scotland? I'm sooo jealous!
Cool! I love the your sewing space!
ReplyDeleteI went to Edinburgh once and was amazed at how picturesque it is. So beautiful! Congrats :)
I have just tried unsuccessfully to persaude my daughter to apply for a student exchange to Edinburgh. Alas she had other cities in mind.
ReplyDeleteAh, you are moving to my favorite city in the world. My mum took my sister and me there to visit relatives when I was 8; I never forgot the experience. And we've been several times. I love it, though the hordes of tourists (like us)make it a very different experience for people who actually live there I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteWow! shift work, changing the city .... definitely, you're really lucky, I hope you post pictures of this city for those who live far, far away, heh, heh
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! I love Edinburgh!! You lucky thing, you! :) Congratulations on having your sewing space featured, as well!
ReplyDeleteWow! Happy planning and preparing for the move!
ReplyDeletecongratulations!! I just adore Edinburgh. The idea that the current city was built over the older Victorian Edinburgh makes it such an intriguing place full of history and mystery! I have fond memories of imbibing in the pub Robert Burns used to frequent right in the heart of this fascinating place!!
ReplyDeleteOh yay, I love Edinburgh! Congrats on the upcoming move!
ReplyDeleteI was there for three weeks when I was nineteen, it was such a lovely city. I stayed at a place called Pollock Halls and behind it was a big hill, every couple of days we'd climb the hill just for fun. One night there were fireworks, and we climbed the hill to watch the fireworks over the city. Gorgeous! I wanted to stay there and sell my plane ticket home :)
Going to go check out your sewing space now!
