Sew Grateful Week: My Pattern Giveaway

I'm excited to be sharing my giveaway with you all today!  Up for grabs is this lovely pattern, Simplicity 3529, for a lovely jacket and coat:

The pattern is from 1940 (my favourite year!!) and I've sewn up the jacket version in faux fur.  It's a size B36...

AND

    Vogue 9346; 1940s; One-Piece Dress & I couldn't resist so I bought it! can't wait to make it (along with the suit pattern I bought!)

Also while I drooled over all the pretty special occasion dresses I decided that my favorite was "Simplicity Early 1950s Sewing Pattern Shirt Dress Button Front Full Gathered Skirt Deep V Neck or Collar Kimono Sleeves" I lie the simplicity of it whole it still having special effects!... now to lose 6 inched of bust.... ;-)

  30. I like Adele Bee on facebook... and like many of the patterns, but Simplicity 7245 version 1 looks like something I would love to sew!  I have to say that I love the advance 5592 would look super sweet and is even the perfect size for my daughter Adele :-) Thank you so much!

    I like the Simplicity 1951 boy's overalls size 8. Notice how the young styles came in much bigger sizes back then? No dressing kids like adults! Great giveaway, Debi!

  41. Why did you make me go to the Etsy shop?? There are so many patterns I want. I have a long torso so I'm trying to learn to sew my own dresses. My favorite is 1940 Anne Adams Mail Order Depression Era Housedress - Casual Swing Dress.
