Tasia's patterns are brilliantly drafted. This blouse has no closures and only took me 2.5 hours to make. LOVE it! I can't wait to make all the other versions of the pattern as well!
How amazing are these sleeves? I love them so much! I made the blouse out of teal liquid satin material. It started to rain as we were taking these photos--so please excuse the little raindrops on the blouse! It was a nice stable fabric to work with!
The blouse was really easy to construct and I absolutely love how Tasia thinks :) The construction process was really creative. I also really enjoyed having the sew-along tutorials to refer back to as well! YAY!

I'm sure if you win you can save it as a credit for one of her upcoming patterns!
How to enter...
The pattern giveaway is open to readers everywhere! To enter:
- Leave a comment on this post by midnight GMT Sunday for one entry,
- Post about the giveaway on 1. your blog, 2. twitter or 3. facebook for an additional entry for each method (so you can have a total of up to four entries...be sure to leave a comment and let me know if you've done any of these extra things).
I love all of Sewholic's designs, but due to my no buying of patterns this year (which I should be extendeding to no fabric either - I've got far too much of it) I haven't got any of them yet! I'd love the blouse though, everyone's looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway - count me in! That is one gorgeous top. I love the colour and the structure of the fabric.
ReplyDeleteYes! I'd love to win the Pendrell blouse pattern, since I've already finished two Lonsdale dresses!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great top! Tasia's patterns are awesome. I've started on a Pendrell myself, with the crescent waiting in my stash :P Only one missing is the Lonsdale (so far)
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway thanks :)
I'd love to make all of them, but especially Lonsdale... such great patterns.
ReplyDeleteOh, how lovely of Tasia to offer a pattern for a giveaway! Your version of the Pendrell is lovely - I'm finding it amazing that it's got no fastenings, it fits so well!
ReplyDeleteI've been eyeing up the Lonsdale dress pattern recently, so if I'm lucky enough to win, I'd choose that one. :)
macska at gmail dot com
gorgeous top! the colour really suits you too! I've had this pattern in my stash for a while, so I really must get to it - love that it has no closures!
ReplyDeleteOoh - I love the colour of your Pendrell, it looks wonderful, including the sleeves. I'd shied away from satin, it looked awful slippery, so I'm interested to hear that fabric behaved itself.
ReplyDeleteI did the same version on mine, but ended up with sleeves that dropped rather squarely off the shoulder, and left me feeling like a rugby forward, or a well padded American football player...not a pattern for the broad shouldered I think. A shame, because it was an absolute pleasure to put together, and left me feeling like I'd learnt masses (particularly on binding neck and arm holes!). Ho hum!
For that reason, and because I never seem to get round to making skirts, I'd love to have a go at the Crescent skirt - I think that'd be lots of fun!
