ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway. My Favorite is the 1940's reproduction overalls, Sp40-4536. I really want to make a pair of these because I work for a company that makes commercial airplanes. And they made airplanes during WWII also. So, some of my historic co-workers probably wore coveralls exactly like these.

ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to choose from all of the amazing patterns they have. Right now, I'm stuck between the #1379 Ladies' Dinner Dress, circa 1934 and the #1930 Ladies' Trousers, Overalls and Bellhop Jacket, Circa 1936. I'd probably go with the dress, though. Those kick pleats!

ReplyDeleteEvaDress is full of pretty patterns and it was impossible to choose one pattern so I picked two. Both of them are very feminine and cute. If i would have to choose from these two it would be very tough, but I might turn to the 30's dress, but only because the colour is so pretty on the sample picture and I already have light pink chiffon ready waiting for 30's dress to sew.

I also really like E40-5810 Set of Evening Accessories, circa 1943, but I suppose I would have to go for something a little less elegant and choose T40-3322 Ladies' Wide Leg Trousers and Overalls, circa 1940 - because I have wanted a set of vintage overalls for a long time. They fit so much better than modern ones and would be great for the farm work I do. :D I could also take and add a skirt to this pattern instead of trousers -- it would be cute!
