MMM: Day 2

I had a lovely time out and about visiting the open day at several artists studios in our area:

On Day 2 of the Me-Made-May challenge, I wore my green and purple leaves skirt made from a 1950's Butterick pattern:

I paired the skirt with one of my purple tops and a vintage-inspired sweater that my mom gave me.

I experimented with my hair using a new set of hot rollers that David got me (awww...how sweet!)

It made me feel really good because I got loads of compliments on the skirt and on the hair!  YAY!

This is a great ensemble -- I have been taking a leaf from your book and building my seasonal wardrobe around a few key colors and textures.
