{Report from the Fringe} Persian Rug Village

Event: Persian Rug Village

Venue: 2 Venues: one at the Persian Rug Village store (where we went) and another tent on Prince's Street.

Cost: FREE

Review: This was a great way to learn about 2,000+ years of Persian culture and textiles while sitting in a beautifully colourful tent!  They advertised tea as well--but they didn't have any when we showed up!  We went to the less busy Morningside location.  As a bonus, we had the tent all to ourselves!

What I Wore: ooohhh...you get a little sneaky peek at my Sew Weekly creation for this week!  Let's just say the bright colour fit right in with the tent and I was super comfortable!

  6. What a gorgeous blue! I've been meaning to make a Pendrell, but I haven't made the time yet. I can't even imagine finding the time to sew something new every week! I can't wait to see yours. You always provide such wonderful inspiration!

  7. Oooh! I've only just managed to order a couple of Colette patterns and download the sorbetto. I think I'm going to have to get the Pendrell.

The colour and fabric of this one is so lovely! I wish I had some local fabric shops I could ransack for bargains like that...

It's just right for a trip to the Fringe too!
