I'm in Sew Magazine!

I'm so excited!  The lovely Mary Jane who blogs over at Mary Jane Makes interviewed me for a piece she was writing on sewing with vintage patterns for Sew Magazine.


I am SO EXCITED! How neat is that??  You may recognise in the photo that I'm wearing my very first sewn garment--the 1940's DuBarry pattern blouse.  A big thanks to Rachel for letting me know she had seen the article.  I'm picking up a couple of copies at the train station tomorrow! Thanks so much Mary Jane!

    that is very awesome! I can imagine how it must feel picking up a magazine at the station and being featured in the pages! I always enjoy hearing about what you're making and, even though I'm not likely to be making similar things, I do like that era style fabric and that informs my imagination when I'm thinking of what i want to make! Do you have an electronic copy of the feature so I can read it with my screen reader? Hope so! :)

    That's pretty cool Debi.
    BTW, I was at a huge international magazine store before Christmas and it was interesting to note that there are so many more sewing, knitting and crafting publications coming out of the UK than America. I wanted to buy them all!
