I love this McCall advertisement (from my 1940 McCall Needlework Magazine):
The illustration features three 1940 McCall dresses (3852, 3867 and 3878 from left to right). Though isn't the plane angled a little sharply downwards? eeps!
My favourite part is the last sentence: "It's scientific in EVERY DETAIL --eliminates error, saves my time" hmmm....maybe if I repeat this mantra I'll sew quicker and without any mistakes...lol
